Anna Maria Island, just outside of Bradenton, offers sugar sand beaches on the Gulf of Mexico, days filled with sunshine, evenings featuring incredible sunsets and enough fun and romance on the island and in nearby Bradenton and Sarasota to sweep you off your feet.

Events By The Bay has investigated locations along the beach that accommodate our Sweet and Simple Ceremony Package as well as offer Gulf side reception sites for couples wishing to add a small reception. (Reception site pricing varies depending upon number of guests, menu selection, etc.) Reception sites include the Sandbar Restaurant, the Beachhouse, the Sun House Restaurant, the MiraMar Room at Bridgewalk and the Harrington House Bed and Breakfast.

Select from 3 exquisite locations: Buck Lake at Harmony Golf Preserve, Harry P. Leu Gardens or Winter Garden's Historic Park on Lake Apopka.

1. Buck Lake at Harmony Golf Preserve: Featuring a wooden dock for the ceremony extending out into beautiful and peaceful Buck Lake, complete with a medley of wildlife sights and sounds. 2. Located in historic Winter Garden's Newton Park on Lake Apopka, this picturesque lakefront site offers several romantic ceremony settings including bridges, wooden dock and lawn space under the palms. Included in the package is Little Hall, equipped with a sink, refrigerator, rest rooms and a screened in porch facing the lake for pre-ceremony preparation and inclement weather back up plan.
